Book Hauls

August Book Haul

I am super excited about the books I bought in August!

The Muse by Jessie Burton

I read The Miniaturist last year and really enjoyed it! I’m very excited to see what Jessie Burton can reveal to us next. Plus, the cover is gorgeous!

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

This is a book that I’ve seen everywhere recently. I wasn’t sure if I’d find it in UK stores very easily, so when I found it unexpectedly I automatically picked it up. I’m really excited to see if it’s as good as everyone says it is.

The Princess Saves Herself In This One by Amanda Lovelace

This is another one that lots of people have recommended. I’ve had a quick peruse and it sounds really intense and beautiful. I’m excited to delve into some modern poetry as I’ve not done so in quite a while.

The Boy Who Lost Fairyland by Cathrynne M Valente

I want to finish this series by the end of the year. I ordered this recently and can’t wait to get to it. This one is a little different – it’s from a secondary character’s perspective so it’ll be really interesting.

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

After reading and LOVING My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologises (review here), I immediately went on Amazon to pick this up. I’m hoping it’s just as good!

Quite a few of these are in my September TBR, so hopefully some reviews of these will be coming your way soon! Happy reading this month, guys!
