TBR: To Be Read

December TBR

Okay, I’m being cautious this month because I tried too hard last month and sent myself into a slump. I know my time will be limited this month so here’s the little list of books I plan to read:

Persuasion by Jane Austen

A reread and I’m planning on listening to it using Librivox as I take long journeys this month. I’m going to be up and down and all around Scotland in the lead up to Christmas, so audiobooks are the way to go. I love to reread a book around Christmastime – it’s so comforting.

Let it Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnston & Lauren Myracle

Another nod to the Christmas spirit. I read the first story maybe two years ago and never completed the collection so I’m going to give it a go this year. I think it’ll be pretty easy going which is what I’m looking for right now.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

And another reread. I really mean it when I say I’m taking it easy. This is a favourite favourite of mine and I can’t wait to delve into this world again!

Any other books are a bonus! I do have Christmas holidays at the end of the month to look forward to, which is the ultimate reading time! So I don’t doubt that I’ll be able to read a lot then, but I’m sticking with my small list for now. I hope you enjoy this last month of 2016 and read some wonderful books in it, too!
