Top Ten Tuesdays

Top 10 Tuesday: Books On My List for 2017.

*meme started over on The Broke and the Bookish. Go say hello!

Alrighty, some of the following list will not be a surprise to you. I often say I’m looking forward to books and it takes me months to get to them. However, here’s some books I’m definitely wanting to read near the beginning of the new year. Let’s get started!

Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick

I started last year with a good autobiography – Lena Dunham’s Not That Kind of Girl – ┬áso this feels like a good way to start 2017 too. I can’t wait to laugh out loud!

The Fairyland Series: Book 4 and Book 5 by Cathrynne M Valente

Right 2017, this is our year. We will finish this gorgeous series and we will enjoy each and every moment of it. Yes? Yes.

Replica by Lauren Oliver

Picked this book up a few months ago but got sidetracked. Still need to decide how I’ll go about this read, too. Any recommendations?

A Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers

Still so intrigued by this book, so I’m hoping to delve in next year.

Furthermore by Taherah Mafi

I’ve heard to many good things about this book and the world within it. I can’t wait – every time I look at it I get series Fairyland feels.

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

I’m caving, okay? I’m caving in and trying this series. It was really cheap a few weeks ago on Google Play, so we’ll see if it lives up to the hype.

All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

I’ve been waiting around, wanting to read this and not reading it for a while now. I’ve waited too long; this is the year!

Talking As Fast As I Can by Lauren Graham

I want to read this whilst the GG Reunion episodes are still in my head, so it’ll be soon!

The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh

Another one of those, why am I waiting so long to read this?! I want to get to this soon!

Ambitious, maybe? But this will be over the first few months/half year of 2017, so let’s see if I can stick to the list. Bookish plans for you in 2017? You know I always love a good recommendation!
