YES! I don’t even care that no-one tagged me because I’m gonna do this tag anyway. I was a Sims Super Fan as a child and still play it sometimes when the mood strikes. Onto the questions!
The Original Sims: The Best Author Debut
The Hate U Give. So powerful, so thought provoking, so very needed at the moment.
The Grim Reaper: Saddest Character Death
Hmm, I don’t know if I can choose for this one. I’m gonna go between Finnick from HG because it was so sudden (I remember having to go back and reread the page because I felt like I’d missed it) and Matthais from SoC. Always so sad.
Sims Getting Stuck: A Character that just Got in the Way
Any character that is the “other guy” in a love triangle. I just can’t get behind love triangles anymore. I’m bored of them and their moment is gone, imo.
Simlish: A Book with Amazing Writing
There are plenty to choose from but since I’ve read it recently and really loved it, I’m going to choose Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. Man, her writing is luscious. I’m a sucker for lovely descriptions.
Expansion Packs: Series that just Kept Getting Better
The Raven Cycle Series was one that I enjoyed more than I thought, and it just kept that suspense and drama running throughout all four books. I read one after the other because I really wanted to know what was going to happen, and I never felt like there was a dip in the plot.
Sim Romance: The Worst Case of Insta-Love
Haha! I remember making Sims fall in love in a day and loving every moment of it. In real life though, I don’t feel like that really happens. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E Smith was a book all about that and I just… I’m not really for it.
Needs Fulfillment: A Character that Made All The Wrong Decisions
Bella from The Twilight Series. When I think back about reading that series, I can only think about mentally cringing over Bella Swan’s choices. The man wants to drink your blood; don’t date him.
The Sims Vortex: A Completely Engrossing Series
The Six of Crows Duology – man, I was kept on the edge of my seat throughout those two books. I’m so glad I waited to read SoC so I could read CK straight after.
I tag: WHOEVER LOVED THE SIMS AND WANTS TO DO THIS. This was such a blast from the past, haha!
Happy reading, all!
