T5W: Series that Got Better!

You know when your mind blanks? That’s what happened when I was writing this post. And I realised that 1) I’ve not actually read as many series as I think I have and 2) out of the series’ I have read, not many have got better as they went on. So here’s a short list of the ones I’d recommend!

Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo

You know how much I loved this duology! It really does get better as you learn more about the story, and more is revealed. There’s a fantastic cast of characters, lots of action and intrigue. What more could you want!

Harry Potter Series by J K Rowling

Because it had to be on this list, you know. I feel like any series gets better as you delve further and further into the world (if the world building is fab, which it is in this series), so I couldn’t leave this one off the list.

The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

This is such an interesting series, and I got more and more hooked as I went further into this series. I ate this series up like I haven’t done before, so I had to mention this one. I also feel like this series is so different to others in plot and writing. Because of this, each book revealed more, which it definitely benefited from.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

I’m not sure about this series getting better and better towards the last book, but the difference between the first book and second was stunning! So much better and more intriguing. I enjoyed the last book too, so I added it to this list!

I feel like there are lots of other series I could have mentioned, but I’ve not read them yet! Any suggestions?! I’m definitely on the hunt for a new series, that gets better and better, to pull me in!
